Is it really the last Monday of March??? Where has the month gone??? Right now, I'm at the office - very slow. So I have time to scrap & blog.

Over the weekend, I was selected to help with an one-kit-call for this super cute kit "An Imaginary World" by Linou. There's also coordinating Word Art that goes well with this kit. It has the WA in both English and French.

I did a couple of layouts and quick page for her. I love the first page I did. Not so much the second. I like what I did with the tree in the 2nd one though. I was trying to add as many of the element as possible for the second LO to show off what came in her kit.

Last Weekend in March.

I can't believe that March is almost over with. It seems like the month just started. I had a couple of dr appts this week. Good news - my mammogram came back clear; bad news - I'm anemic again. But that's no surprise. I'm waiting to hear back my dr office to schedule the weekly IV treatments.

On the subject of scrapping, I won this gorgeous kit "Sweet as Chocolate" from Kerstinchen as a RAK on DST. Here's a couple of layouts I did. I got the idea of a chocolate river from Willy Wonka.

It's Monday! At first, they were predicting snow but we got rain instead. Funny how the weather changes so quickly. I was so looking forward to spring weather. Instead, we get 40's for the 1st day of Spring.

Friday finally!!!

Long week - it's been a busy month. I'm averaging about 2 appts (or more) each week! Next week, I have only 2 (so far) & they're both on Thursday. Thursday will be a long day.

Today, I worked all morning at the book fair at my kids' school. I love the book fair - I just wish my kids would get better choices. ;)

I did a sketch challenge at Divine Digital with the kit "Sweet Romance" by AnDi Designs. I love the soft colors and the mauve/pink & chocolate combination. Here's the layout I did - it's about Sydney 1st snake that we had to let go b/c it cannot handled being in captivity.

Middle of the Week - Wednesday

This week, the focus is on Noah & trying to decide where to put him next year. His reg pre-k teacher is out with a broken shoulder, but his team thinks he may be ready for kindergarten this fall. But he did horrible on the Geselle kindergarten readiness test. The test instructor (who was a kindergarten teacher for many years) thinks he needs an extra year in the ECSE program (spec ed preschool) with all the services. But if they think he's ready for kindergarten, they may not keep him. Looks like I'll be going to lots of meeting in the future.

I am so proud of myself! I got my mammogram done yesterday! One thing to cross off my resolutions list!

Monday, Monday

I love this shot. It's my Noah - I did the page with a kit called "Purple Night" by StarLight Designs. You can get at Digital-Crea.fr I love this kit; beautiful colors, papers & elements. As you can see.

Poor Noah - I don't what do about him for school next year. His usual teacher is out for awhile due to a broken shoulder. His speech therapist says he's ready for Kindergarten this fall. But he did horribly on the Geselle readiness test. The test instruction has been teaching kindergarten for years, even taught my 2 oldest kids. So I trust her judgment. I think I going to have to stop in his school tomorrow to have another discussion. That is, if I get out of my mammogram in time.

Yes! I finally made the appt for that. After that & my other appts for this month, I'll have to see a dermatologist as well. See my layouts I did for New Year's Resolutions. It's from a challenge I did at the Digital-Crea.fr forums.

Spring coming???

It seems to be warming up around here. The snow is melting & the breeze is mild. I hope it's spring. I'm itching for spring. I got this great Spring Breeze Collab kit from Designs in Digital. It's their March collab kit and it's huge! You can get it free with a purchase of $10 and they have some great kits. So, go shopping!

Happy Belated Birthday to my son Jacob

My oldest son, Jacob, turned 8 years old. We celebrated by going to a restaurant of his choice - Big Boy. Here's a layout I did with him with the kit - Never Ending Story by Marta Designs - I won as a RAK. This layout also got a "Gallery Standout" at Digishop Talk! Woo-hoo.

Today, my 2 youngest boys had dentist appts & they did really well. And no cavities! yeah! And Noah had picture day today. Busy day. I was so tired when I got home, I so wanted to take a nap, but couldn't b/c I couldn't miss Noah's bus.

My kids' school had their open house this Sunday. It was nice - I got to meet the 5th grade teachers for Sydney for next year & the kindergarten teacher for Noah.

Well, I have to keep on my kids to do their homework & me to get scrapping on mine.

Where has the week gone?

I can't believe it's Thursday! What did I do this week?? Hmm, dr appts, school, church & work. Yesterday, I worked until 6:30 pm, ran to church 7pm service. My sister took the kids up there. I took the kids home after church. Got home around 8:30 & went to bed. However, I was unable to sleep b/c of the kids. I was so ready to drop this morning. I can't wait to sleep in some day. Whenever that will be.

But I did get to do some digiscrapping today. I worked on the 7th challenge of the ADSR5. It's about our bucket list - 50 items:
