New Kit by Genedes!

Sorry it's been so long since my last post.  I am having such a hard time getting used to the time change.  I'm like a walking zombie these days.

But on the bright side, Genedes has come out with a new kit "Dans ma cuisine."  It's available at Digital-Crea.fr .  Even though it's in French, there is a widget that can translate to English.

Maniac Monday

I can't believe it's the end of August (well, almost).  My two older kids start school tomorrow!!!  I can't believe school is already here!  And my younger two start school after Labor Day.  So, I'm scrambling to get label all the school supplies and get the mountain of books covered.  My husband was supposed to cover the books, but he decided to mow the lawn instead.  To me, the lawn could have waited a couple of days - getting the books covered CAN'T!  So, I'm a little peeved (well, more than a little since he left for out of state & I'm the one stuck with covering the books & labeling all the supplies.)

Better get on to scrap news to get me into a better mood.  Genedes has a new kit out - Pirate.  Here's a couple of layouts I did with the kit.  I love how these pages turned out:

1st Wednesday in July

I hear fireworks going off!  Anyone going to see professional fireworks display???  We plan on going tomorrow night to a local park.  We missed the big display on the Detroit River.  It's the largest fireworks display in North America.  It is awesome.  I just don't feel like I could take the kids without Dave.  Maybe next year.  IMAGES: 2010 Target Fireworks

Scrapping news, Genedes has come out with a new kit "Salade de Fruits" or Fruits Cocktail in English.  It's a neat kit with beautiful colors and many elements that remind me of summer.

Okay, it's Monday, June 14.  Syd & Jake don't have to get for school today, Noah goes in the afternoon, which means I don't have to get up to make lunches.  But Ethan wakes me up for his breakfast.  Will I ever be able to sleep in???

'Til Tuesday

I hope eveyone had a nice holiday weekend.  We were busy.  We had a bbq at my brother's yesterday and Sunday was my dear daughter's birthday.  She turned 10.  Wow!  I can't believe I gave birth to her 10 years ago!  We just a family get together Sunday.

I got a new kit "Fashion" by Genedes.  I used to scrap some photos from Sydney's 6 th birthday party.
