So much to do, so little time & Winter Sparles

I've got so much laundry to do & house cleaning.  *sigh*  I much rather be scrapping.

I got this new kit by Circle of Life Scraps called  "Winter Sparkles."  It's actually a collab effort between Circle of Life Scraps and Country Hollow Creations.

It's the Weekend!

Been a rough week with kids sick.  Ugh.  And dh having to work a LOT!  Hopefully tomorrow, I'll be able to get some rest.  (probably not)  hehe ;)

Anyways - on to the digiscrapping news!!!  Designs in Digital has a wonderful new collab kit this month called "Wildly Inspired by Music."  It's great for all those photos  we take of our kids in  their Christmas concerts, band performance, dance recitals, plays, etc.  Also perfect for those nights out to see a play (like I did for my birthday).

It's a collaboration by all the designers at Designs in Digital.  I'm including the individual designer's previews so you can get a detailed view of each contribution.

As you can probably guess by now, each designer was inspired by Broadway musical.  That is so great!  And here are my layouts I made with this kit, so far:

I made this pages for a couple of the challenges at Designs in Digital.  Designs in Digital has some great challenges.  Grab a kit, do some challenges, earn points towards a coupon at the store, and voila, you'll have some memories scrapped.  So, get scrapping & have some fun!!!

and belated Merry Christmas!  Did everyone enjoy their holidays?  Was Santa good to you?

Guess what I got - a mini Mac computer!!!  It's taken me awhile to adjust from Windows to Mac.  Sorry I haven't been blogging but I think I'm getting the hang of it.  One thing I noticed is that the hot keys are not the same.  Ctrl+C does not copy like it did in Windows format.  I'm sure I have way more to learn.

Anyways, speaking of Christmas,  Anelia.net is a new designer at Designs in Digital and she has designed a beautiful Christmas kit called "Classic Christmas" and boy, is it gorgeous!

Not only does it have beautiful papers & gorgeous elements, but it also comes with Word Art and alpha.  I made a desktop wallpaper with it:

It's the Weekend!!!

Whew!  Hectic week.  I had planned on doing all my Christmas shopping & grocery shopping this past Monday.  Especially since Meijer was having 15% off everything.  But then came the snow & ice; and with that, 2 snow days.  I had 4-6 kids at my house.  And the roads were too icy to go out (a salt truck went into the ditch - ya know that's bad when that happens).

On Wednesday, Jacob had his Christmas concert that night.  Thursday, Ethan has his Christmas party at preschool and Jacob had a cub scout meeting at a nursing home to sing Christmas carols (so, we had to go).  Friday, Sydney & Jacob had their Christmas parties and the school assembly.  And right now, I'm watching the neighbor girl until one of her parents gets out of work.  Busy, busy, busy. 

At least Sydney and Jacob got their haircut before the Christmas concert and parties.  Speaking of hair cutting, Alissa Jones of Pick a Paper Designs has a new kit out at a new store!  She is now selling at 9th and Bloom and her new kit is called "A Hairy Tale."

Wacky Wednesday!

I feel so tired.  Not enough sleep.  Sydney has her Christmas concert last night.  It was soooo nice.  The concert was the 5th-8th grade band, strings & handbells.  It was really nice to see the progression through the grades.  The handbells'  concerts were just lovely!

Wonderful Charity Collab DigiScrap kit at Designs in Digital!!!

December 1st already???

Where does the time go???  I can't believe it's December already.  Had a late start today.  I thought I set the alarm, but I guess I didn't (or someone was playing w/the alarm clock).  So, we all overslept & ran around like crazy this morning.  I did get Sydney & Jacob to school on time but Noah was about 15 min late.

I did get my laptop back from the manufacturer to fix it.   I think it worked fine for 1 day & now I'm having the same problems again.  The battery won't charge.  Back to the repair department again.  *sigh*  I am not doing at much computer work on my desktop that I was on my laptop.

But some good news - I did get some photos of our pumpkin picking  scrapped!  I used a new kit by RK Designs called "Pumpkin Patch" and it's soooo cute!!!
