Happy 2014!
OMG!!! Has it really been over a year since I last posted here??? It's been crazy around here. Between school, homework, sports, youth orchestra & work, I've barely had time to scrap!
Maybe you know by now that Brownie Scraps has since closed. Last year was rough for many digiscrap stores & sites. Some of my favs are gone - ScrapMatters, DigiScrap Addicts, MeSoScrappy, just to name a few.
Not only that, but there were some losses of family members & friends last year that hit me really hard & spun me into a deep depression. I was feeling numb & had no inclination to scrap or doing anything creative. It took awhile, but I'm handling it better now.
Luckily, I am on the Creative Team of another store, Scrap Take Out and brand new digiscrap store, Scrappy Bee, which just opened up this month!
The Scrappy Bee has a beautiful store collaboration kit called "New Beginnings."
This collab kit has over 100 elements and over 65 papers! Here's a couple of layouts I made using this versatile kit:
Also, iNSD is this weekend. Scrappy Bee is celebrating with a HUGE sale and blog hop!
That's all for now! Tomorrow is another busy day!

Happy New Year!!!
Wow - So sorry about not posting for soooooooo long! It's been crazy. With my hubby working out of state & 4 kids in school with homework every day & 2 kids in school sports (which means practice every day) - I just couldn't keep up. Heck, I couldn't even keep up with the housecleaning!
But now Dave has a job back home, so I hope things lighten up a bit. But I have a feeling not, because now we just bought a Subway restaurant!
Because I had no time, I did scale back on my CT duties & Praise teams I was on.
Now, I'm on the store CT for Brownie Scraps - a template only store.
And some exciting news they have:
You can get more info HERE:
AND for all you 365/52 Project doers, Brownie Scraps is having a 15% sale on those style templates:
So why not go shopping while's there's a sale????
Hugs to all!

Manic Monday
For some odd reason, I'm having a hard time adjusting to the new year. I'm afraid a part of it may have to do with the fact that it's my youngest's last year of preschool. I can't imagine him not being at home with me. I've even been thinking about homeschooling him. *sigh*
Some good news, Sugar Moon Designs has a new kit out called "Christmas Pageant." It is soooo cute & can be used for layouts other than Christmas themes.
See??? and of course, those holiday themes, as well as school activies:
And it's on sale right now!!! You can get it half off at Divine Digital HERE or at With Love Studio HERE.
I don't know how long the sale will last, so get it now for 50% off while you can!!!

Something new!!!! and Happy Belated Birthday to Denise!
Hi Everyone! I'm on the mends. Now I need to start cleaning the house again. ;)
and a very Happy Belated Birthday to my friend Denise. But I did call her & see her on her actual birthday.
The something new part - there's a new workshop called "ARTcheology of the Soul" at Go Digital Scrapbooking starting this month. It's about Art Journaling; something I'm not used to but it's always good to learn something new, right?
It is HUGE mega kit, and I mean HUGE!!!

Happy Martin Luther King day!!!
I can't believe it's half-way through January already. And I can't believe that I didn't post at all in December. But December was a hard month for me. My dh came down with pneumonia. He was so sick. So everything fell on my shoulders, all the Christmas shopping, wrapping, cooking, going to all the kids' Christmas programs & parties. I was feeling worn down.
Then the day after Christmas, I was admitted to the hospital due to a kidney stone. It was too large to pass & I had to have surgery to remove it. It was horribly painful; although not as painful as childbirth. ;)
Though I did learn at the hospital, they've implanted a new protocol - healing oils. They gave me peppermint oil for my nausea & lavender oil at night. It did help - I was pleasantly surprised. The nurse told me it had to be the pure oils - not the watered down ones at the local stores. They just put a couple of drops on a gauze pad & had me smell it when I felt like I needed it. The nurse said they noticed that when people use this - they don't need as much pain medication. I'm starting to believe that now.
Well, I do have some great scrapbooking news: ScrapMatters is not closing, as some rumors were suggesting. They just did some changes - a whole new way of doing challenges! It's now a bingo style system. Check it out here: http://scrapmatters.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=425
And their Stack Exchange is back!!! It's so much fun! You buy the selected kit (it's discounted for the month), unless you already own it, make either a stacked page, cluster, border, etc.; submit it to Lisa by the end of the month, and next month, you'll receive all the goodies that everyone else made.
Here's Lisa's contribution:
